Get Ready for Round The Mountain 2013 - Saturday June 22
Hosted by the Kootenay Orienteering Club, the Kimberley Trail Society, and the Kootenay Freewheelers' Cycling Club, the spectacular annual Round The Mountain event showcases Kimberley's beautiful and diverse trail network and features the Round The Mountain Trail. Participants can choose from a variety of hiking, running, and mountain biking challenges around North Star Mountain, plus kids races, live music, and food and drinks will provide fun and entertainment for everyone. All events start and finish at the Kimberley Nordic Centre.

The 2013 RTM event has moved from Sunday to Saturday, and will remain a one-day festival.
The Duo will become a true Duathlon with the Duo bikers starting with all the other bikers, and transitioning directly into the Duo run.
Improvements have been made to the Kids events including: staging area and route changes, and new age categories.
